i. Respect everyone on the site. Respect their culture, religion and beliefs. We don't want a fight happening over this stuff, people are who they are. If you want to argue, create a debate thread. If this rule is broken, you'll end up with a suspension.
ii. People reply to post at their own pace, so don't keep urging people to reply. This is very annoying.
iii. Battles will be as realistic as possible, and kept fair. Absolutely NO POWERPLAYING (controlling another character's moves and assuming your attack hits or not)! There is no way a young Charmander could beat an experienced Wailord.
iv. There are no legendaries. Your character may not have encountered them in their past, and the only way they can encounter them would be through a plot. Legendary pokemon are very very rare, and the chances of seeing one, well, they're next to zero.
v. You can encounter a wild pokemon and catch it by role playing on the capture thread either with a staff member or alone. The staff member will play as the wild pokemon, as you will play as your character and their pokemon. If you choose to roleplay alone, the story must be believable, and at least a page long.
vi. There are no levels in Escya. However there are loyalty points. Loyalty points are gained over time. Battling with your pokemon helps increase the pokemon's loyalty points. A staff member will tell you when your pokemon has gained a point. Pokemon can get a maximum of 10 hearts.
vii. There are no levels in Escya, pokemon who evolve by reaching a certain level will evolve when it is felt appropriate in roleplay. If pokemon evolve through Stones, or a held item, they need that too in Escya. If a pokemon evolves through happiness, they need at least 6 loyalty points.
viii. New moves can be learned by your pokemon either by leveling up, or by TM/HMs. TMs may be bought or obtained in a gym leader battle.
ix. In character posts, when Role Playing, posts must be at least ~250 words and more. No one liners!
x. You may only have three characters per account. If you possess more than three characters, then you should have multiple accounts for them. You must be active on all the accounts you create, and if you fail to do so, the admin have a right to delete your inactive accounts.
